Jackson, WY – Get ready to watch local chefs duke it out at the 4th annual People’s Market Iron Chef competition. The dueling knife trophy is up for grabs once again and the team to beat is the Snake River Grill as they hold the title.

The Iron Chef competition will be held during the last Jackson Hole People’s market of the year on Wednesday, September 17th at the base of Snow King. In addition to the competition, there will be beer from Snake River Brewing, Thai Me Up, and Roadhouse as well as lots of local produce and art for sale.

The competition will start at 4:30 with the contestants being staggered at 10 minute intervals. Each chef will have one hour to complete their dish showcasing three mystery ingredients sourced from market vendors. The dishes will rated by a panel of four judges and the winner will take home the welded knife trophy.

Head chefs this year include Kyle Nicholson from Snake River Grill, Rich Hammons from Sudachi and Nate Fischer from the Couloir.

There will be plates auctioned off during the event of which all proceeds help support the People’s Market.
